The board room in ECOSS comfortably seats 12 around the table, extra chairs can fit.  Great for a small classroom environment with kitchen and toilet facilities included in the booking. The room features a stunning view to the Earth Goddess, and a whiteboard for teaching accessories.

The Village Green is a space available for hire by not-for-profits at the mentioned rates or for commercial use by negotiation with Admin Committee regarding the nature of event and numbers of participants.

Our dedicated events coordinator is here to guide you in planning your celebration, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience. We take pride in supporting our local community, and our coordinator can assist you in coordinating any, some, or all of the following services from local businesses:

• Professionals: Celebrants, photographers, and videographers.
• Catering & Logistics: Caterers (we have many local connections including supporting local artisan producers), Marquees, and our sustainable Wash Against Waste Kit.
• Entertainment: PA and Sound Engineers, and Musicians and bands.

You have the choice of several distinct and character-filled areas for your event, including:

• The Village Green with Stage
• The serene Yarning Circle or Shade areas
• The Coop
• Our large outdoor undercover gathering area

Site Hire and Logistics

The site hire fee for one full day is $3,500. This includes time the day before and the day after for set up and pack down. This fee also includes the assistance of one ECOSS staff member on site.

It is a requirement to have an ECOSS Staff member present for your event. An additional hourly fee will be required for any extra logistics organised by our staff.

Please Note on Privacy: ECOSS is home to many co-locating businesses and enterprises. While we will make every effort to manage your wedding to ensure privacy, exclusive site use is not on offer, and it is likely there will be other activities taking place onsite during your event.

Yarra Valley ECOSS Smoothycycle was very kindly donated by the Yarra Ranges Council for community use.

This smoothie cycle is available to the community for hire.

Our fees to cover our administration cost are as follows:

• $50 for Not for Profit organizations.
• $150 for private or commercial endeavors.
• $250 fully refundable bond – for the replacement of the expensive blender jug.
• bio-cups available for 20c per cup.

We ask the the payment be made before the pick up of the Smoothycyle, and that the utmost of care be provided during transportation and use. Pick up on the Tuesday, Thursday or Friday before use.

The Smoothycycle will need to be transported in a van as it must not be dismantled.

ECOSS has a Wash Against Waste kit that is available to the community to hire to help fight the serious over use of plastic and paper plates, bowls, cups and cutlery that are not disposed of properly and all end up in landfill.

Currently the kit consists of a hundred dessert bowls, plates, knives, forks and spoons.

We have recently been donated a trailer to house the kit and will be working on finding grants to upgrade and fit out the trailer.

Festivals and Events can hire the entire Kit and recover hire fees via charging food vendors (kit users) less than what they would pay for disposables.
