DESCRIPTION:Uncial Calligraphy 2 day Workshop \n\n\n\n\nSaturday 31st August\, and Saturday 14th September\, 10am to 4.30pm. \nThe Boardroom\, ECOSS\, Wesburn in the beautiful Yarra Valley. \nUncial is a beautiful script\, often associated with Celtic writing. \nIt is a great calligraphy script to learn as a first script and a relaxing pastime that can contribute to a variety of artistic endeavours. \nIn this 2 day calligraphy workshop you will learn to write the uncial script with a calligraphy pen in ink\, watercolour and gouache. Complete the workshop by writing a small quote\, and if time\, with a decorated Versal. \nCome along to learn a new skill and experience the joy and contemplative nature of calligraphy. \nWe will be working mainly in black & white\, with a touch of colour.
