DESCRIPTION:Yarra Valley Spoken Word Friday 9th May 2025 – Feature Poet Paul Whitby\nHi fellow Poetry Lovers! \nOur May Feature Poet is a wonderful chap\, Paul Whitby\, who we met at our Annual January Holiday Road Trip the previous year when we went to Cherry Tree Poets in Cremorne. \nWe have since seen him again at this year’s road trip to The Motley OpenHaus in Carlton and he has visited us several times up here in the Valley. \nPaul Whitby is a casual animal rescuer and poet. His writing has been published in a variety of literary journals\, including Cordite\, The Lifted Brow\, and Award Winning Australian Writing. He is the 2020 winner of the Ipswich Poetry Prize\, and won the Wyndham Writing Awards the following year.
